Watch type
The amount of labor required depends on the specific kind of watch:
- Quartz
- Digital
- Mechanical
- Automatic
- Chronograph
- Vintage/antique
Quartz movements are typically just replaced unless easier to replace parts.
Digital watches tend to be older and therefore more difficult to find parts for. This kind of thing will definitely need a diagnostic test in person before an estimate can be given.
Mechanical and automatic movements have a vast range of configurations, some movements require more finesse to work on than others.
Chronographs have many more parts for the timer feature portion of the movement and therefore have a lot more to take apart.
Vintage and antique pieces are extremely difficult to find parts for if at all possible. Requires a diagnostic test in person before an estimate can be given.

Disclaimer
Antique, Vintage, or heavily worn watches may have hidden damage, fragile parts, or worn metal. I am not responsible if these components break or fail during the repair process.
Watches lose their factory water-resistant seals over time. In the process of servicing the movement, I cannot guarantee the watch's waterproof rating unless new seals are purchased, or in some cases, at all for vintage timepieces.
I am not responsible for damages caused by previous unqualified repairers, counterfeit parts, or amateur tinkering found inside the watch upon opening it.
Completed repair policy: I will hold a serviced watch for 30 to 90 days once the repair is fully completed. If customer fails to pay after repeated communication attempts, I will sell the watch to recover costs or scrap it for repair parts.
Service jobs that include work on the movement automatically come with a 6-12 month warranty. The length of the warranty will be disclosed to the customer when given the estimate. The warranty is void if the watch shows signs of abuse, accidental drops, or tampering by another party
